This page explains how Gradzyl users can request deletion of their account and associated data.
If you can access your Gradzyl account, you can delete your account from within the app.
Open Gradzyl and go to:
Settings → My Account → Delete Account
Follow the confirmation steps shown in the app. Account deletion is intended to permanently remove your account and associated app data from our active systems.
If you cannot access your account or cannot use the in-app deletion option, email us at admin@gradzyl.co.uk.

When your account is deleted, we delete or anonymise personal data associated with your account, including where applicable:
We may retain limited information where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backup integrity, or regulatory reasons. Where this applies, we only keep the information for as long as necessary for that purpose.
If you used shared features, deleting your account may remove your personal account link from shared spaces. Some shared content may remain visible to other users if they created it, still need access to it, or where removing it would affect their own account data.
We aim to process deletion requests as soon as reasonably possible. Some backup or security records may take longer to fully expire from all systems.
